Meet Our Family and Learn Why We Are Doing An IVF Fundraiser

Our story began with fate bringing us together in 2019, from across the country after we both got out of the Military. Daniel from Alaska and Kaylee from Nevada somehow met in Texas. With three dogs and a cat, we spent a few years shaping our life together before deciding it was time to start a family.

In the beginning of 2023, we took our first steps towards parenthood. We conceived quickly, but the joy was short-lived as we lost our first pregnancy shortly after. Determined, we tried again in early 2024 and, although we conceived once more, we faced another heartbreak with the loss of our second pregnancy, which occurred a little further along but was still early.

Then came Christmas of 2024, a day filled with hopeful anticipation as Kaylee discovered she was pregnant again! This pregnancy lasted longer, filling our hearts with joy, but ultimately, we faced another devastating loss when we lost our little girl, whom we lovingly named Willow.

Following a significant amount of heartache and testing, we learned that a genetic chromosome issue known as Robertsonian Translocation was the cause of our pregnancies ending. After countless discussions with doctors and reflecting on our journey, we made the heartfelt decision to pursue IVF. We are hopeful that this path brings us closer to the family we dream of.

Thus the creation of “Sprinkle of Hope” Bake Sale & Fundraiser.
